ServiceHQ · ServiceM8 specialists
We build add-ons for ServiceM8, and set trade businesses up on it.
Two things, one business. Software that extends what ServiceM8 does, and remote setup, training and support that gets your team actually using it. Run by a UK plumbing and heating business that works in ServiceM8 every day.
- Built by tradespeople, not guessed at
- Remote — UK first
- Sole traders to small firms
What ServiceHQ is
Software, and the help to make it work
Most people meet us through one or the other. They are the same business, and each makes the other better: setting up real trade businesses is how we learn what the add-ons need to do.
Pillar one
Add-ons
Software we build that plugs into ServiceM8 and extends what it does. WhatsApp messaging is live in private beta, reputation management is in development, and there are more behind those.

Setup, training and support
Remote ServiceM8 implementation for small trade businesses. Setup and onboarding, data migration off whatever you use now, staff training, and a monthly retainer so there is someone to ring when it matters.

Add-ons for ServiceM8
Each one exists because we hit the problem ourselves and could not buy a fix.
WhatsApp for ServiceM8
Two-way customer messaging, inside the job
Customer WhatsApp messages land in your ServiceM8 Inbox ready to become jobs, and your team replies from the job itself. Nothing gets lost on somebody's personal phone.

Review requests that go out on their own
Review generation and management built into ServiceM8, so asking for a review is part of finishing the job rather than a separate chore nobody gets round to.
What we are buildingSetup & support
Get it set up once, properly
ServiceM8 is good software. Most businesses that give up on it never got past a half-finished setup that described somebody else's business.
- 01Setup and onboardingWe map how work actually arrives in your business, then build ServiceM8 to match it — jobs, quotes, and the paperwork that has to come back off site.
- 02Data migrationCustomers, live jobs and outstanding money brought across from whatever you run now. We help you decide what is worth bringing and what to leave behind.
- 03Staff trainingTraining the people who touch it, in the order they touch it. Office first, then the engineers, on their own phones.
- 04Monthly supportAn ongoing retainer for the changes, questions and fixes that come up once real work is flowing through it.
Why us
Built by a trade business, for trade businesses
The person behind ServiceHQ runs a plumbing and heating business in the UK and uses ServiceM8 to run it. Every day. Jobs, quotes, invoices, engineers on site, customers who message at nine at night.
That is the whole difference, and it is not a marketing line. When we build an add-on, we are the first business that has to live with it. When we set your ServiceM8 up, we are not working from a training course — we are working from having made the same decisions about our own work, and having got some of them wrong first.
It also means we will tell you when the answer is no. If ServiceM8 is not right for how you work, or an add-on would not pay for itself, that is a more useful thing to hear from us than a sales pitch.
- aWe use what we sell, on our own jobs
- bPlain English, no platform-speak
- cPriced for sole traders and small firms
- dStraight answers, including no
